Brief Church History

  • January 14, 2007: Very first meeting for Bible Study at the Aspiras’ home (Roque & Emma dela Cruz, Danny & Melly Aspiras, and Evelyn Casey). Met every other Sunday since then.
  • Later joined by other Filipinos from Oak Harbor and Bellingham Filipino friends and acquaintances.
  • March of 2009: FACF joined VMCM, a network of Fil-Am churches in the Puget Sound corridor and in BC, Canada.
  • January 10, 2010: FACF moved its meetings from the Aspiras’ home to the FBC facility and held its very first worship service there. Been meeting for worship at this facility since then.
  • January 2013: FACF promulgated its own Constitution and By-Laws, ratified by the congregation on February 3, 2013.
  • February 2013: FACF got its Certificate of Incorporation from the State of Washington as a Non-Profit (Religious) Corporation. FACF also got its tax exempt status cover under its affiliation with the Northwest Baptist Convention.
  • February 2017: FACF amended its Constitution and By-Laws and re-registered with the State of Washington to change it’s name to Crossroads International Christian Fellowship (CICF) to convey a more welcoming and inclusive church.
